Wedding hall staff booked over hidden cameras in bridal room

SAHIWAL: The manager and assistant manager of a wedding hall in Sahiwal have been booked for allegedly recording videos using hidden cameras in the bridal dressing room.

These charges were filed by a bride’s father, leading to their registration of the case by the Farid Town police.

Arshad, the bride’s father, said his daughter and wife heard mysterious voices across the room’s wall.

In the adjacent room, he said they discovered a video recording setup connected to concealed cameras that had been installed in the bridal room.

According to Arshad, as they entered the room, an unidentified man pointed a pistol at them, and the manager and his assistant fled the scene.

A case (FIR No 1495/23) has been filed against both the individuals, as well as their accomplice who had aimed the gun at the complainant.
