WEB DESK: Dry and cold weather is expected to prevail across most parts of the country on Wednesday, with chilly conditions likely to intensify in the hilly regions, particularly during the morning and night.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) also said that in the plains of Punjab, smog is forecast to linger, while light fog may also appear in some areas during the early and late hours of the day.
Going region by region, in Islamabad and its adjoining areas, the weather will remain dry, with temperatures dipping during the morning and night.
Across Punjab, most districts are expected to experience dry conditions, while Murree and Galiyat will face dry and cold weather. The persistence of smog in the plains is expected to affect visibility, accompanied by light fog in isolated spots.
Sindh is also likely to see dry weather throughout its districts, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will remain dry overall but considerably colder in its hilly regions, where the morning and night are expected to be very cold.
In Balochistan, dry weather will prevail in most parts, with the northern districts experiencing particularly low temperatures during the night.
Meanwhile, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are forecast to remain cold and dry throughout the day, with biting cold anticipated in the morning and night hours.
