When will Part-I and Part-II annual exams begin in Punjab

ISLAMABAD: Students from Punjab took to Google earlier today, searching for Part-I and Part-II annual exams date sheet, as the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) issued a date sheet notification on Wednesday. Here is the date notified by BISE Lahore.

According to the BISE Lahore notification, Intermediate Part-II (12th class) exams will begin on October 29, starting with 11 different subjects on the first day, while the Punjabi final paper for class 12 will take place on November 12, 2025.

Following this, Intermediate Part-I exams will begin on November 13, with papers in Education and Islamic Education, the board said in the notification. The last paper for Part-I is scheduled to be Psychology, to be held on November 27, the notification added.

After the written exams, practical examinations will commence in December, according to the Lahore Board.

Meanwhile, the second annual examination session by the Lahore Board is an opportunity for students who either missed or wish to improve their results in the earlier exams.

How to apply for rechecking HSSC Part-I exam?

The Lahore BISE has also issued a notification for individuals applying for rechecking of the HSSC Part-I examination 2025.

BISE Lahore introduces biometric attendance for exams

The Lahore BISE, earlier on Tuesday, also introduced a modern biometric attendance system for these examinations, aimed at ensuring transparency during the exam process.

The biometric system will be implemented from October 29, in line with the Intermediate Second Annual Examination starting the same day.

A Lahore Board spokesperson said that over 35,000 candidates will participate this time, and the attendance of all exam-taking students will be recorded automatically through fingerprint verification.
