WEB DESK: Following its theatrical release on October 2, the romantic comedy Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is set to make its digital debut. The film, directed by Shashank Khaitan and featuring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead, will begin streaming on Netflix from November 27. Sony Music confirmed the date on Wednesday, sharing a promotional poster and announcing, “The auspicious moment is here, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari lands on Netflix on November 27.”

Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf star alongside the lead pair, with Maniesh Paul and Akshay Oberoi also part of the ensemble cast. Produced by Dharma Productions in collaboration with Mentor Disciple Entertainment, the film follows two jilted lovers, Sunny (Dhawan) and Tulsi (Kapoor), who team up in a chaotic attempt to disrupt the wedding of their former partners, played by Malhotra and Saraf.

The movie sparked lively reactions when Netflix shared the update. Fans celebrated the OTT release, with many praising the film’s climactic sequence involving Rohit Saraf and Prajakta Koli. Enthusiastic comments filled the post, ranging from “Can’t wait to rewatch!” to “Only here for that iconic climax.” Not everyone was impressed, however; one viewer remarked they had wanted to walk out before the interval during the theatrical run.

Despite mixed reviews, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari collected ₹98.35 crore at the global box office, helped along by its colourful soundtrack and light-hearted storytelling. With its arrival on Netflix, the film is expected to reach a wider audience eager for a feel-good romantic comedy.
