Who is Rafael Olarra? The creative director at the centre of Pedro Pascal buzz

Rafael Olarra has quickly become a name fans are searching after multiple public outings with Pedro Pascal sparked fresh speculation about the pair’s relationship.

The Argentinian creative director was most recently seen with the Game of Thrones actor during a PDA-filled walk in Los Angeles on February 23, where the two appeared comfortable showing affection in public.

However, the Los Angeles sighting was not the first moment that drew attention. Earlier in February, Olarra and Pascal were photographed together in New York City’s Lower East Side over Valentine’s Day weekend.

According to reports, the pair were seen linking arms during a casual stroll and were later spotted leaving the same car, further fuelling online speculation.

They also attended a screening of ‘Wuthering Heights’ in New York, starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, where images showed them seated side by side and chatting during the film.

Observers say the pattern of public appearances has kept fans guessing about the nature of their connection, though neither man has confirmed any romance.

Olarra, 47, has worked as an art director at Faena since 2015 and has built a career spanning fashion campaigns, editorials, advertising, exhibitions, television, theatre and live events.

He was previously in a relationship with actor Luke Evans between 2020 and 2021.

Pascal, 50, has largely kept his personal life private over the years. He is widely recognised as an ally to the LGBTQ+ community, and his sister, Lux Pascal, is a trans woman.

Despite the growing online buzz, neither Pascal nor Olarra has publicly commented on the recent sightings, leaving fans continuing to watch for the pair’s next appearance.
