Why Ducky Bhai still not released?

YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman, better known asDucky Bhai, remains in custody even though the Lahore High Court approved his bail. His lawyer says the release order (robkar) has not yet been issued — which is why he wasn’t freed today. They are hopeful that he will finally be released tomorrow.

The court granted him bail on a Rs1 million surety bond after he was arrested on August 17 by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). He is accused of promoting illegal gambling apps through his YouTube channel.

According to the FIR, the platforms in question include Binomo, 1xBet, and others. Earlier, lower courts had rejected his bail applications — prompting him to move to the High Court.

Separately, nine NCCIA officers are facing allegations of bribery and abuse of power. According to Ducky Bhai’s wife, Aroob Jatoi, these officials allegedly extorted money from them and transferred dollars from his account into their own.

The investigation into the gambling app promotion is ongoing, even as he awaits his release.
