Sheikhupura: woman gives birth to child in hospital’s parking

SHEIKHUPURA: A woman delivered a baby boy in the parking lot of a children’s hospital in Sheikhupura on Thursday after being denied admission by the hospital staff, her family said.

The woman, who was not identified, was taken to the children hospital Sheikhupura for delivery but faced delays in getting admitted, her relatives said.

She gave birth to her son in the parking area of the hospital. Both mother and child were reported to be in stable condition.

The family accused the hospital administration of negligence and demanded action from the health authorities.
