Yasir Hussain teases Asad Siddiqui over mother-in-law’s approval of married men flirting

WEB DESK: Pakistani actor Yasir Hussain has sparked some controversy with a light-hearted dig at his close friend and fellow actor Asad Siddiqui.

This comes after veteran actor Asma Abbas, who is Asad’s mother-in-law, made comments regarding the acceptability of married men engaging in playful flirting.

“You lucky man. Congratulations. Now you have the licence,” wrote Yasir in his instagram story while tagging Asad Siddiqui.

Asma Abbas’s perspective on marriage stirred up criticism on social media after she expressed her unconventional views during a candid conversation with Neo TV host Wasi Shahi on his show Zabardast. She defended the idea of “minor flirting” within marriage, sparking debate and drawing attention to her remarks.

“My husband already had a wife when we got married,” she said. “I believe there is no harm in a man talking to another woman when you know he is the father of your children and coming back home to you. You shouldn’t suffocate someone so much.”
