Zainab Abbas is ‘humbled to be presenting in India’ at the ICC World Cup 2023

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani star commentator Zainab Abbas is all set to feature in the upcoming ICC World Cup 2023, scheduled to take place in India this month.

Zainab, took to ‘X’, perviously known as Twitter to make the annoucment.

“There was always intrigue on what lies on the other side, more cultural similarities than differences, rivals on the field but camaraderie off the field, the same language & love for art & a country with a billion people, here to represent, to create content & bring in expertise from the best in the business,” she wrote in the tweet.

“Humbled to be presenting in India at the Cricket WC2023 for the @ICC again, a journey away from home of 6 weeks starts now,” her tweet added.

On Wednesday Pakistan Cricket team was greeted with a warm and spirited reception upon their arrival in India.

Indian cricket enthusiasts flocked to the airport, eagerly chanting the names of their favourite Green Shirts players, with a particular focus on their skipper, Babar Azam.
