During his ongoing Papa Yaar tour, Zakir spoke candidly to a packed auditorium, sharing that the hiatus could last three to five years, depending on his existing commitments. Emotional as he addressed the crowd, he said, “It will be a break of three, four, or five years to take care of my health and to sort out a few other things. Everyone present here tonight is very close to my heart. Your presence means more to me than you can imagine, and I will always be grateful to all of you. Thank you so much.”
He later took to Instagram to clarify his plans, noting that all shows scheduled until June 20 will be treated as a celebration. Fans are encouraged to catch these final performances, as Zakir will not be touring extensively this time. He expressed deep gratitude for the unwavering support of his audience, calling these remaining shows particularly meaningful.
