Zardari extends independence day felicitations to Jordanian leadership

WEB DESK: President Asif Ali Zardari has extended his warmest congratulations to King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein and the people of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan as the nation marks its Independence Day.

In an official message, the President emphasised the deep-rooted connections between the two countries, noting that Pakistan and Jordan enjoy cordial, long-standing relations built upon a solid foundation of mutual respect, trust, and shared values, according to Radio Pakistan. 

He highlighted the close understanding and convergence of views that both nations maintain across a wide range of regional and international issues.

Deepening fraternal ties

Looking towards the future, President Zardari expressed his strong confidence that these fraternal ties will continue to flourish and grow even stronger in the years ahead.  

He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to fostering closer cooperation and further solidifying the bilateral partnership with the Jordanian leadership. Concluding his message, the President conveyed his sincere wishes for the continued peace, progress, and prosperity of the brotherly people of Jordan.  

The gesture underscores Pakistan’s enduring diplomatic warmth towards Jordan, reflecting a shared desire for stability and development across the region.
