HARARE: Zimbabwe secured a dominant innings-and-85-run victory over Bangladesh in their one-off Test, wrapping up the match inside three days at Harare Sports Club on Tuesday.

Chasing a massive deficit after being outplayed in the first innings, Bangladesh were bowled out for 185 in their second innings, having resumed the day at 40-1 but losing wickets in quick succession.

Fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani starred with figures of 4-65, while captain Richard Ngarava supported with 3-32 as Zimbabwe sealed their biggest-ever Test win.

No Bangladesh batter managed to reach a half-century, with Mushfiqur Rahim top-scoring with 34.

Earlier, Bangladesh were dismissed for just 140 in their first innings after being asked to bat first, before Zimbabwe responded strongly with 410 to take complete control of the match.

Both sides will now shift focus to a limited-overs series comprising three One Day Internationals and three T20 Internationals.
