WEB DESK: Pakistani actor and host Adnan Siddiqui found himself at the center of an unfortunate misinformation episode, as rumours of his demise began circulating on various social media platforms.
Siddiqui took to his social media to put an end to the baseless speculations.
Before anyone of you start offering condolences here, am rubbishing the news of my demise that’s doing the rounds on social media. Yours truly is very much alive and kicking Alhamdulillah.

According to The Express Tribune, the false news of Siddiqui’s passing garnered significant traction on social media, causing distress among his fans and followers.
To mitigate further confusion, the Yeh Dil Mera actor shared a video on his Instagram profile, wherein he could be seen watching a YouTube clip featuring a woman reporting on his alleged death. In a moment of staged grief, Siddiqui appeared to express condolences before abruptly breaking character and explicitly debunking the rumors, all while being present in real time.
Siddiqui captioned the Instagram post, stating, “All those spreading the rumors of my demise in the name of journalism and breaking news, next time, give me a fair idea before making me the headline. I’ll personally come to your studios and confirm it, complete with my epitaph. Your (ir)responsible journalism should look flawless after all.”

Responding to the video sent to him via WhatsApp by one of his contacts, Siddiqui assured, “I am completely fine. Alhamdulillah, I am still alive. I don’t know who spread this news. Please don’t be upset. Dying is a part of life, but I still have a few days left.”
