Agnus Cloud ‘did not commit suicide’ says mother

CALIFORNIA: Lisa Cloud, the mother of Angus Cloud, mourned the sudden death of her son.
According to Variety, Lisa took to her social media on Friday and shared a heartfelt post. She denied the She said that he struggled intensely with the loss of his father and had been open about his battle with mental health.
“Friends, I want you all to know I appreciate your love for my family at this shattered time. I also want you to know that although my son was in deep grief about his father’s untimely death from mesothelioma, his last day was a joyful one,” Lisa added.
She also said that his son did not commit suicide and mentioned an ongoing investigation of the Euphoria star’s death.

The reports said that Lisa said that Angus had plans to stay at home, reorganising his room and expressing his intentions to provide for his college-bound sisters, as well as offering emotional and financial support to his mother. She said that his son did not intend to end his life, and their last interaction was filled with expressions of love.
“When we hugged goodnight we said how much we loved each other and he said he would see me in the morning. I don’t know if or what he may have put in his body after that. I only know that he put his head on the desk where he was working on art project’s, fell asleep and didn’t wake up. We may find out that he overdosed accidentally and tragically, but it’s abundantly clear that he did not intend to check out of this world.” said Lisa.
Angus, known for his role as Fez, a drug dealer in the popular HBO drama series Euphoria, passed away on July 31 in Oakland, Calif.
His untimely death has deeply affected his co-stars from the series. Singer Dominic Fike, who portrayed “Elliot” in the series, moved to tears during his performance and said that despite feeling conflicted, he believed Angus would have wanted him to carry on with the show and find happiness in it.
Meanwhile, Angus’ co-star Zendaya expressed her heartfelt remembrance of the late actor, praising him for the boundless light, love, and joy he brought to the set.
Angus Cloud had become a fan-favorite cast member in Euphoria, where he starred alongside Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Maude Apatow, and others. His acting journey began when he was discovered by the show’s casting department while working at a New York restaurant. Since then, Angus’ career had seen further success, including appearances in the 2021 feature North Hollywood and the upcoming drama The Line, led by Alex Wolff.
