Aima Baig reveals reasons for leaving the country

KARACHI: Popular Pakistani singer Aima Baig, who had caused a social media uproar by announcing that she is leaving the country for an indefinite period has finally revealed the reasons behind her decision.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Aima Baig uploaded a video during which she has been seen addressing the speculations about her exit from the country permanently and detailing that she has been going out from the homeland for work purposes, emphasizing humorously: “I am not going anywhere, not going to leave you, people. no matter how much you wanna get rid of me. Music is my love and my passion and I, your sister will continue to produce it. Consider me your sister or mam whatever you want”.

The star also announced her first single album which would be released on 18th August.

The star, during the video, also announced her upcoming music album by saying: “Music is not going anywhere in fact it is just going to come out. I am releasing my first single album on 18th August 2024 which is my original one.”

Earlier Aima Baig announced that she is leaving the country through an Instagram upload which reads: “Bye-bye Pakistan – for a while. I’m gonna miss my country since I’m leaving for a certain period of time rather than just a week or two or month.

“Wish I wasn’t leaving this unhappy but IK (I know) Allah will fix everything – even the mental stress and state we go through every day.” In another upload she wrote: “Even the clouds are crying that I’m leaving for this long.”
