Aina Asif opens up about ’special’ bond with Samar Jafri

WEB PAGE: Young actress Aina Asif, often in the spotlight for portraying mature roles at a young age, has opened up about her age and special bond with co-actor Samar Jafri.

The duo rose to fame with their hit pairing in Mayi Ri and are currently starring together again in Parwarish.

In a recent appearance on a private TV channel, Aina spoke about her journey in showbiz, her love for acting, and her close working relationship with Samar.

“He’s a good friend, we support each other on set, crack jokes, and just have fun,” Aina shared, adding that she’s completely comfortable working with him.

She also addressed the long-running speculation around her age, revealing she is currently 16 and will turn 17 later this year.

“When I was 12 or 13, people assumed I was older, and now when I’m 16, they think I look 12,” she laughed. Though these comments used to bother her, Aina said she has learnt to brush them off.

Echoing similar sentiments, Samar Jafri said that he and Aina Asif enjoy a good on-screen chemistry, and the age gap between them does not bother him.

 “People say a lot, but Aina is very mature and easy to talk to. It never feels like there’s an age gap,” Samar said in an interview.

He praised Aina’s professionalism and intelligence, saying their strong off-screen friendship helps their performances shine.
