Alexa Davalos exits ‘FBI: Most Wanted’

NEW YOURK: Actress Alexa Davalos will not reprise her role in the upcoming fifth season of the popular crime-drama series FBI: Most Wanted, as reported by Variety.
According to the media reports, the series, created by Dick Wolf, revolves around the Fugitive Task Force, an elite division dedicated to pursuing and apprehending notorious criminals listed on the Bureau’s Most Wanted. The executive producers of the show are David Hudgins and Todd Arnow.
The reports said that the Clash of the Titans actress became part of the series in the beginning of season three, portraying Kristin Gaines, a former Naval Intelligence Officer and member of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Fugitive Task Force. Her departure from the show has led to the list of cast changes that have occurred on the Wolf Entertainment production.

Davalos’ character joined the team after Kellan Lutz, another series regular, left the show. Lutz’s character, Kenny Crosby, was written off the series in the Season 3 premiere. Jess LaCroix (Julian McMahon), the former team leader, also exited the show during Season 3 and was succeeded by Remy Scott, portrayed by Dylan McDermott.
Alexa Davalos rose to prominence with her role in the critically acclaimed historical dystopian series The Man in the High Castle. Her television credits include variety of work including neo-noir crime-drama series Mob City and teen drama Reunion, as well as range of cameos including The Punisher, Raines, Angel and Undeclared. She also shared screen with big names including Antonio Banderas in the HBO’s telefilm And Starring Pancho Villa as Himself and Diane Keaton in emotional drama Surrender, Dorothy.
Meanwhile, amid ongoing strikes in Hollywood, the official return date of season five of the series remains uncertain, with writers and SAG actors continuing their picketing efforts.
