Ariana launches fragrance amidst scandal

LOS ANGELES: Ariana Grande has said she wants “everyone to experience” Cloud Pink, her new fragrance which launched exclusively at Ulta Beauty, weeks after she faced criticism for a very public scandal.

Cloud Pink, a “sister scent” to the original Cloud fragrance, is currently available online at Ultabeauty.com and is set to drop in Ulta stores on August 20.

In the promo video shot by Zoey Grossman, Grande seems to look carefree, wearing a light pink tutu, followed by a series of purple and pink dresses.

Grande has been facing severe backlash when it was revealed that the singer was dating Broadway alum Ethan Slater, her co-star in the upcoming film adaptation of Wicked. Both Grande and Slater were married to separate people, and they allegedly had the affair while working on the adaptation together.

Grande announced earlier that she was splitting with her husband Dalton Gomez after two years of marriage. Slater, meanwhile, had known his wife Lilly Jay since high school and they married in 2018. They also have an 11-month old son together.

Slater, a graduate of Vassar College, found fame playing the title role in the SpongeBob SquarePants musical on Broadway, for which he was nominated for a Tony Award in 2018.

The messy affair led to reports that Grande was “giving space” to Slater to sort out his divorce and work on co-parenting.
