Billie Eilish pays tribute to late Angus Cloud

CHICAGO: Popular singer Billie Eilish paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Euphoria star Angus Cloud during her performance at Lollapalooza on August 3.

According to Variety, Eilish dedicated an emotional rendition of Never Felt So Alone, a track she collaborated on with Labrnith, to honour the memory of the actor.

The media reports said that as the Bad Guy singer delivered the song’s touching lyrics, “Cause I never felt so alone, felt so alone / I could never be more alone than when I ain’t got you here.”, the crowd got emotional and began chanting Cloud’s name.

Meanwhile, Billie Eilish addressed the crowd at the end by saying, “RIP to Angus Cloud, everybody,”

Cloud, known for his role as Fez, a drug dealer in the popular HBO drama series Euphoria, passed away on July 31 in Oakland, Calif.

His untimely death has deeply affected his co-stars from the series. Singer Dominic Fike, who portrayed “Elliot” in the series, moved to tears during his performance and said that despite feeling conflicted, he believed Cloud would have wanted him to carry on with the show and find happiness in it.

Meanwhile, Cloud’s co-star Zendaya expressed her heartfelt remembrance of the late actor, praising him for the boundless light, love, and joy he brought to the set.

Angus Cloud had become a fan-favorite cast member in “Euphoria,” where he starred alongside Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Maude Apatow, and others. His acting journey began when he was discovered by the show’s casting department while working at a New York restaurant. Since then, Cloud’s career had seen further success, including appearances in the 2021 feature “North Hollywood” and the upcoming drama “The Line,” led by Alex Wolff.
