MUMBAI: Bollywood divas including Sonakshi Sinha, Shilpa Shetty, and former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen walked the ramp at the ongoing Bombay Times Fashion week in India’s entertainment capital, Mumbai.
Sinha, coming off of her recent success from Netflix India’s ‘Heeramandi: the Diamond Bazaar,’ showcased designer Vikram Phadnis’ ‘Advaya’ collection on Sunday (May 05), wearing an embroidered black ‘lehanga’ dress with a long veil trailing behind.

Phadnis’ unconventional representation of an Indian bride in black was effortlessly shown by Sinha, with many comparing her look to that of her character in the show.
Shetty, a veteran at the fashion week, donned a shimmery gold saree for the Etasha collection by designer Asha Jain, and walked as the showstopper for her collection on Saturday (May 04).
Model-turned-actress, Sen, looked ethereal in golden bridal couture by celebrated designer Rohit Verma, whose collection celebrated inclusion and featured members of the transgender community on the ramp.
Sen made the clap formation using her hands, which is a symbol of the transgender community and said that she felt privileged to be a part of such a meaningful celebration.
