Cardi B files for custody and reveals third pregnancy

WEB DESK: Famous rapper Cardi B filed for primary custody of her two children following her decision to divorce her husband, Offset.

According to reports, Cardi B submitted new divorce documents after initially filing in 2020 and subsequently withdrawing them. This filing marks the latest development in their six-year marriage.

While filing for divorce, the rapper announced her third pregnancy via image-sharing social media platform Instagram. She shared a message expressing gratitude and renewal.

“With every ending comes a new beginning,” Cardi B wrote in her caption, accompanied by photos of herself in a red dress.

A representative for Cardi B informed media that the divorce is not related to cheating rumours but has been a long-expected decision. The rapper’s announcement of her pregnancy came a day after she filed for divorce.

Offset, Cardi B’s relationship began in early 2017. It has been marked by significant public and private events, including a secret marriage and various controversies. The couple married on September 20, 2017, and Offset proposed publicly in October of the same year.

Cardi B initially filed for divorce on September 15, 2020, but they reconciled shortly afterward.

The female rapper’s relationship with Offset has included several high-profile incidents, such as allegations of infidelity and their public displays of affection and family life. Despite these challenges, the couple has maintained a strong presence in the media and their personal lives.
