Glastonbury Festival: Dua Lipa and SZA headline in historic lineup

PILTON: Dua Lipa, SZA, and Coldplay will headline Glastonbury Festival 2024, presenting a historic lineup with two female acts leading the main stage on two of the three nights.

British singer Dua Lipa will make her debut on the Pyramid Stage on June 28, while American artist SZA will close the festival on June 30.

Coldplay will take the stage on June 29, marking their fifth appearance at the festival and becoming the first act to headline five times. The festival will run from June 26 to June 30 at Worthy Farm in England, expecting around 200,000 attendees.

Adding to the lineup, Canadian country singer Shania Twain will fill the “legends” slot on the final day, making her debut at the greenfield music festival. She is set to entertain the crowd with her timeless hits during the Sunday afternoon slot.

Joining these headliners are other notable acts such as Little Simz, Burna Boy, Cyndi Lauper, and Olivia Dean. While the lineup has sparked excitement among fans, some expressed disappointment over the absence of high-profile musicians like Madonna, Stevie Wonder, and Bruce Springsteen.
