WEB DESK: Veteran Punjabi actor and comedian Jaswinder Bhalla passed away in the early hours of Friday at the age of 65. According to Indian media reports, Bhalla died at 4 AM at Fortis Hospital in Mohali after suffering a brain stroke.
Known for his impeccable comic timing and iconic roles in Punjabi cinema, Bhalla was a beloved figure in the entertainment industry. His portrayal of “Advocate Dhillon” and his memorable one-liners earned him widespread popularity across generations. He featured in several Punjabi blockbusters, including the hugely successful ‘Carry On Jatta’ series.
Sources close to the family confirmed that the cremation will take place on Saturday, August 23, at 12 PM at Balongi cremation ground in Mohali. Family members, colleagues, and fans are expected to gather to pay their final respects.
