Jannat Mirza turns down role in “Parizaad” and “Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay”

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani TikTok star Jannat Mirza revealed that she had been offered roles in two highly anticipated drama serials.

Mirza, in an interview with a local news channel, shared that she was approached for Kubra Khan’s character in “Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay” and Ushna Shah’s role in “Parizaad,” both of which became massive hits and garnered a huge viewership.

Mirza mentioned that she was in Japan when she received the offer and was asked to return to Pakistan for auditions.

Expressing regret, she stated, “I still regret it, and I wish I was in Pakistan at that time.”

The 22-year-old star praised the performances of Khan and Shah, acknowledging that they had done justice to their respective roles.

She believed that viewers would have appreciated her performance as well if she had to play the role.

She further said that she was currently considering various drama scripts and assured her fans that they would see her making her debut in television plays soon.

Jannat Mirza, a social media sensation, is the most-followed celebrity on TikTok with 22.8 million following, and 4.4 million followers on Instagram.

She has already ventured into the Pakistani film industry with roles in movies such as Syed Noor’s “Tere Bajray Di Raakhi” and “Dil Mod De.”
