JAVED SHEIKH’S UPCOMING MOVIE
Delhi Gate is an upcoming Pakistani romantic comedy-action film directed by Nadeem Cheema and written by M. Kamal Pasha. The story revolves around Aamir, a struggling journalist, and Anya, a software engineer with a hidden past. Their lives intersect at the historic Delhi Gate, where they witness a startling event that draws them into a conspiracy involving powerful individuals and a dangerous underground network.

The film features a star-studded cast, including Javed Sheikh, Shafqat Cheema, Roma Michael, Khalid Butt, Yasser Khan, and Suzain Fatima. Initially, actors like Saud, Rashid Mehmood, and Umer Cheema were part of the project but were later replaced. The movie was primarily shot in Lahore, marking a return to the city as a filmmaking hub after much of the industry shifted to Karachi.
Originally set for release in 2020, the film faced delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, actor Shamoon Abbasi announced a mid-year release, but further delays pushed the film’s release to 2025, as per recent producer updates.
