Jungkook’s single ‘Seven’ ft Latto tops Billboard Global 200

SEOUL: Jungkook, a popular member of the internationally acclaimed Korean band BTS, is celebrating a remarkable achievement as his latest single Seven, featuring Latto, secures the top spot on the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Exclusive US charts.
According to the Billboard, Jungkook has debuted at the pinnacle of the Global charts.
Seven’s phenomenal success has witnessed an impressive 217.1 million streams and 269,000 downloads worldwide in the timeframe of July 14 to July 20. The original and instrumental versions of the highly-celebrated single were released on July 14, followed by the summer and band mixes on July 17.

During her interview with PEOPLE, the American rapper Latto expressed her awe of her top position on the list and praised Jungkook’s dedicated fanbase and their unwavering support.
The Big Energy rapper said: “It literally has been so surreal witnessing his fans and how much they love him, it’s literally every artist’s goal,”
The Dreamers singer also shared his excitement regarding his collaboration with Latto and the positive feedback from his fellow bandmates. “They loved it,” he revealed during an interview with Good Morning America’s (GMA) Juju Chang.
The 25-year-old global icon admired Latto and expressed his delight over the song and the widespread attention it has received.

Earlier, six songs by BTS including Dynamite, a recreated version of Savage Love, Life Goes On, Butter, My Universe and Permission to Dance have topped the Billboard Hot 100.
In 2022, Jungkook achieved his first Hot 100 no.1 when two of his songs entered the charts. In July 2022 Charlie Puth’s Left and Right featuring Jungkook reached no. 22, while Jungkook’s single Stay Alive spent a week on the list at no. 95, five months earlier.
