The introduction of these cold winds from the northeast are also likely to deteriorate air quality in the metropolis. Despite the chill, the forecast indicates no likelihood of rain in Karachi for the next ten days. Karachi recently encountered its coldest night of the season, with temperatures dropping to 13.5°C on December 8, as reported by the Met Office.
