Kareena Kapoor says no to botox

Kareena Kapoor says no to botox

WEB DESK: While cosmetic procedures have become common in showbiz, Kareena Kapoor prefers a more natural approach to ageing. The actor relies on a balanced lifestyle rather than botox to maintain her youthful appearance.

Speaking at the launch event for nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar’s book, “The Commonsense Diet,” in Mumbai, Kareena shared her thoughts on ageing gracefully.

She emphasized the importance of healthy eating and fitness, saying, “For me, ageing is about eating right under Rujuta’s guidance. I love and embrace it, but instead of skin treatments and botox, I focus on eating ghee, having khichdi, doing weight training for muscle strength, walking, and practicing Surya Namaskars.”

Kareena Kapoor, the mother of two, also spoke about her relationship with food. She recalled her teenage years, saying, “I was always confident and happy with my food choices.

Whether it was a packet of chips or home-cooked meals, food has always comforted me. In the last 10–15 years, I’ve returned to the same simple eating habits, which make me feel amazing.”

Kareena, who shares Taimur and Jeh with Saif Ali Khan, also encouraged women to live life on their own terms, stating, “Self-belief is everything.”
