Kate Hudson takes center stage: TV debut and tour teaser

WEB DESK: Actress Kate Hudson performed for the first time on “The Tonight Show”, where she sang her song “Gonna Find Out” from her upcoming debut album “Glorious.”

The actress’s appearance on the show also included an interview segment where she discussed her music career and hinted at a potential tour.

During her performance on “The Tonight Show,” Hudson showcased her singing skills with “Gonna Find Out,” a track from her debut album set to release on May 17.

The actress was dressed differently than usual, donning a white feathery dress to dazzle her audience: voice and appearance alike.

In her conversation with the host Jimmy Fallon, Hudson stated she was excited about releasing her debut album. The actress said she had been working on the album for almost three years.

Kate Hudson described music as her “first love” and explained that she had been writing songs for a long time. The decision to release her music to the world came during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The actress collaborated with famous songwriter Linda Perry and her fiancé Danny Fujikawa on the album. Kate Hudson stated that her upcoming album experimented with a wide array of genres – rock, soul, country, and pop.

The writing process was a collaborative and enjoyable experience for Hudson, who found inspiration in the eclectic mix of genres.

The actress-turned-singer also revealed her plans for an upcoming tour, expressing her enthusiasm for getting back on stage. While specific tour dates are yet to be announced, Hudson confirmed that she has gigs lined up and is eager to share her music with live audiences.

Hudson’s appearance on “The Tonight Show” follows her recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning, where she discussed her relationship with her estranged father, Bill Hudson. Despite their distant relationship, Hudson remains hopeful for a reconciliation in the future. She simply stated that she has no expectations but wishes her father “the best”.
