CANNES: During the Cannes Film Festival, Kelly Rowland found herself in the spotlight for a tense exchange with a security guard while walking the red carpet.

Arriving at the premiere of the French film “Marcello Mio”, the former Destiny’s Child singer was captured on video engaging in a verbal altercation with a security guard as she climbed the iconic steps of the Palais des Festivals.

In the viral video, Kelly Rowland can be seen navigating the red carpet in a red strapless gown with a long train. As she poses for photographs and interacts with fans, a security guard directs her to proceed up the stairs, prompting an altercation.

However, tensions escalate when the security guard, dressed in a black suit, touches Rowland’s arm and inadvertently steps on her gown. Visibly displeased, Rowland raises her finger in reprimand, expressing her disapproval to the guard in front of the gathered crowd.

Despite attempts to diffuse the situation, with Rowland smiling and assuring the guard not to worry, the altercation continues as the guard persistently touches her arm. Rowland’s accompanying entourage also becomes involved, with one member confronting the guard about her actions.

Eventually, a man intervenes to speak with the usher, allowing Rowland to proceed up the stairs. However, the incident shows the strict security protocols at Cannes, where attendees are often rushed into the theater to ensure screenings start promptly.
