WEB DESK: Lamborghini is gearing up to electrify the luxury sports car market with its first-ever all-electric model, the Lanzador EV.
With recent leaks on social media, there are reasons to believe that the vehicle marks the brand’s transition into the electric era with a bang!
The Lanzador draws design inspiration from the Lamborghini Urus and the 2008 Estoque sedan concept. A two-door crossover-supercar, it boasts a 2+2 grand touring configuration combined with distinct SUV design elements.
Its aggressive front headlights, reminiscent of the 2008 Lamborghini Estoque concept, and a futuristic interior featuring dual digital screens and sports bucket seats, set it apart.
The name “Lanzador” translates from Spanish as “pitcher,” “thrower,” “launcher,” and “promoter.” Expected to be based on the Scalable Systems Platform (SSP), the Lanzador is distinct from the Urus, which is slated for electrification in 2029.
With a limited production run, similar to the Sián, it is anticipated to showcase the design and technology of Lamborghini’s upcoming Revuelto hypercar.
As the automotive world eagerly awaits its official unveiling, the Lanzador EV is already making waves, promising to redefine the luxury electric vehicle segment.
