Taking to her Instagram, Mahira Khan shared glimpses from her dua ceremony and mayoun, expressing the profound significance of family, friends, and tradition in her wedding celebrations. She began by recounting her mother’s wish to commence the wedding with a prayer, praising her mother’s active involvement despite being in a wheelchair.

“Later that day, my childhood girlfriends organized a mayoun for me. Alhumdulillah for friends I can call my sisters,” Mahira Khan revealed in the post, expressing gratitude for the cherished moments.

The Raees actress attention to detail included placing a bud of the motia flower in her earring as a tribute to her dadi and nani before her wedding ceremony.

For the dua, Mahira adorned a pastel Umar Sayeed creation, a classic ivory and gold ensemble reflecting her minimalistic style.

The ivory chikankari shirt with gold detailing and pearls paired elegantly with a gota-bordered dupatta. She completed the look with a soft gold churidar pyjama, signature no-makeup makeup, and small gold balis, complemented by matching khussas.

On the same day, for her mayoun, the Humsafar starlet embraced a mustard Zara Shahjahan outfit with dark green detailing. The frock with a gold and green karahi bodice, paired with a matching dupatta and glass bangles, made a statement with its simplicity and traditional charm.
