Mahira Khan to star in India’s Malayalam film ‘L2: Empuraan’, claims Indian media

WEB DESK: Pakistani star Mahira Khan is all set to make her debut in India’s Malayalam film industry with the movie ‘L2″ Empuraan”, as reported by Indian media.

Indian media reports have disclosed that Mahira Khan is set to grace the silver screen in the sequel to the blockbuster movie “Lucifer,” alongside Malayalam superstar Mohanlal.

However, there has been no official confirmation from director Prithviraj regarding Mahira’s role in the movie. The rumors are speculated to have surfaced due to the close friendship between director Prithviraj and his wife Mahira Khan and her husband, Salim Karim. Mahira Khan, expressing her admiration for Malayalam films in various interviews in the past, has likely added fuel to these speculations.

Earlier this year, Mahira Khan tied the knot with her long-time beau, Salim Karim on October 2.
