WEB DESK: In a move to promote tourism, Malaysia has launched a user-friendly online visa application system for Pakistani tourists, streamlining the process and reducing hassles for potential visitors.
The Immigration Department of Malaysia has revamped its visa application system, enabling Pakistani tourists to apply for a 30-day visit visa through a user-friendly online portal. Notably, the Malaysia eVisa for Pakistani nationals now boasts an extended validity period of 90 days from the date of approval.
This extension provides travelers with a three-month window to plan and organise their visit to Malaysia, allowing for increased flexibility to explore the diverse attractions of the Southeast Asian nation.

To apply for the Malaysia eVisa, Pakistani tourists must submit essential documents, including an approved hard copy of the eVisa, the passport used for the application, a digital copy of the passport’s biographical information page, a recent passport-size photo, proof of accommodation, a return ticket, and evidence of sufficient funds for the trip’s duration.
Another notable change is the reduction in visa fees, now set at 20 Malaysian Ringgit, approximately Rs 1,224, making Malaysia an even more appealing destination for Pakistani travelers. This adjustment aims to offer an affordable entry point for exploring Malaysia’s rich cultural and natural wonders.
To further enhance convenience, applicants can easily pay the eVisa processing fee using a valid debit or credit card, simplifying the overall visa application process and increasing accessibility for Pakistani travelers. The initiative seeks to facilitate a smoother experience for those looking to explore the vibrant landscapes and attractions Malaysia has to offer.
