Eid-ul-Adha 2023 boasts an impressive lineup of five Pakistani movies, each offering a unique storytelling experience.

Ever since the groundbreaking success of Shoaib Mansoor’s Bol in 2011, Pakistani cinema has witnessed a remarkable evolution, inspiring Pakistani filmmakers to explore diverse subjects and captivate audiences nationwide.

The tremendous response garnered by movies in recent years has fueled curiosity and motivation among film producers to push their creative boundaries.

One such movie that made history in Pakistan Cinema is The Legend of Maula Jatt, which shattered box office records and became an unprecedented blockbuster.

Now, let’s take a closer look at the films releasing this Eid:

Teri Meri Kahaniyan:

This star-studded anthology film ventures into a range of subjects, including romance, horror-comedy, and social issues.

It marks the first-ever anthology film in Pakistan, produced by Seeemeen Naveed and Nadeem Baig.

Produced under the banner of Seeprime films, movie features three veteran directors: Marina Khan, Nabeel Qureshi, and Nadeem Baig.

The ensemble cast includes Hira Mani, Mani, Mehwish Hayat, Wahaaj Ali, Ramsha Khan, and Sheheryar Munawar in leading roles, with special appearances by Amna Ilyas and Zahid Ahmed.

Babylicious:

This romantic comedy has been written, produced, and directed by Essa Khan under the banner of Coconut Entertainment Pakistan.

The film, produced by Waqar Zaka, Zohaib Latif, and Essa Khan, marks the on-screen reunion of Syra Yousaf and Shehroz Sabzwari after their divorce.

It promises to be an endearing coming-of-age romance.

Allahyar & The Hundred Flowers of God:

This exciting presentation for Eid showcases the 3D animated film Allahyar & The Hundred Flowers of God.

The film is a sequel to the 2018 hit Allahyar & the Legend of Markhor, which received high praise from audiences and critics alike.

Directed by Uzair Zaheer Khan, the movie features renowned names such as Meera, Humayoun Saeed, Iqra Aziz, Ali Zafar, Nadia Hussain and Bushra Ansari as the lead voice artists.

VIP:
