KARACHI: Actress, host and social activist Mishi Khan warning against the dangers of the growing trend of cosmetic procedures has stressed on adopting a healthy lifestyle to achieve clear and young looking skin.
Referring to the sudden death of Indian actress Shafali Jariwala from a reported heart attack, Mishi said that although the exact cause of death hasn’t been confirmed, rumours suggest she may have been using injections to stay young, which could have affected her health.
Mishi Khan warned people against experimenting on their bodies in the name of beauty without proper research.

She pointed out that many individuals, especially in the showbiz industry, are relying on vitamin drips and chemical treatments like glutathione, which can cause long-term health damage.
She further advised against chasing beauty trends like Korean glass skin or trying to become fairer. Instead, she urged people to eat a balanced diet and make regular exercise part of their routine.
Mishi Khan has advised both celebrities and the general public to embrace natural beauty and avoid artificial methods.
The actress herself has been through several cosmetic procedures, openly admitting to going under the knife multiple times in an effort to maintain a youthful appearance. Mishi has never shied away from acknowledging the regular nips and tucks she’s had.
However, despite undergoing multiple surgeries, she hasn’t managed to leave a lasting impression. While the wrinkles may have been smoothed out, the natural charm she once had seems to have faded.
