Pakistani entrepreneur’s striking resemblance to Aishwarya Rai sparks buzz

Aishwarya Rai

WEB DESK: A recent video circulating on social media has caught the attention of netizens, featuring a lookalike of the renowned Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

The video snippet has been extracted from an impromptu interview and showcases a reporter asking about Pakistani entrepreneur Kanwal Cheema’s thoughts regarding her resemblance to the Bollywood icon.

In the video clip, the reporter poses the question, “How does it feel to be compared to Aishwarya Rai?” Kanwal, taken aback by the unexpected query, responds with a dismissive facial expression, stating, “I don’t want to answer this question.”

Attempting to lighten the atmosphere, Kanwal responds with a laugh, seeking to conclude the discussion. However, when the reporter persists with further questions on the subject, Kanwal acknowledges that she is often likened to the Bollywood superstar but conveys her discomfort with such comparisons.

Meanwhile, the candid moment occurred when Kanwal Cheema was departing an event where she had just delivered a speech about her professional endeavors.

She took the opportunity to gently redirect the interviewer’s focus, questioning why her appearance was being emphasised over her work. Kanwal queried, “Did you listen to my speech today? Why did you revert to my appearance after hearing it? Why is this question being asked?”

Indeed, Kanwal shares striking resemblance with Aishwarya Rai, particularly evident in her light-colored, almost green-hued eyes. Her application of black eyeliner and kohl to accentuate her eyes bears a resemblance to Aishwarya’s preferred style.

Kanwal Cheema serves as the Founder and CEO of My Impact Meter, a comprehensive platform encompassing social media and impact services. The ecosystem connects individuals wishing to assist those affected by crises with relevant suppliers of necessary services or goods including food, health supplies, and educational services for individuals in need.
