Pakistani feminism, Aurat March only about hating men: Rabya Kulsoom

WEB DESK: Pakistani actor Rabya Kulsoom believes that feminism and the Aurat March movement are solely about male hatred.

During her appearance on the Adnan Faisal Podcast, the actor expressed her belief that it is women who often misinterpret the concept of feminism, rather than men.

Rabya highlighted that feminism goes beyond mere household duties and should include broader concerns like women’s access to education and the ability to advance in their careers.

Rabya, while pointing to the viral placards from the Aurat March movement like “Find your own sock” and “Warm your own food,” labelled them as non-issues.

She supported the Aurat March but felt it’s going the wrong way by focusing too much on hating men instead of fighting for women’s rights. Rabya believed the march should empower women rather than blame men.
