Post Malone announces ‘F-1 Trillion’ album and tour


WEB DESK: Post Malone announced the release date for his upcoming album “F-1 Trillion” as August 16 this year.

The announcement was made in Nashville on June 18. “F-1 Trillion” will be Malone’s sixth studio album, following his 2023 release “Austin”.

Malone track featuring Morgan Wallen, “I Had Some Help” is currently dominating the “Billboard Hot 100” music chart for five back-to-back weeks.

Post Malone has recently experimented with country music, shifting away from his signature rap. The upcoming album is expected to continue Malone’s experimentation with US country genre.

Malone’s songs “Pour Me a Drink” with Blake Shelton and “Never Love You Again” at the Academy of Country Music Awards further hint at great foray into the country music scene.

The rapper also recently announced “F-1 Trillion Tour”. The tour will comprise 21 shows across different stadiums, theaters, and festivals in the UK. It will start from the Salt Lake City, United States on September 8 and conclude in Nashville, US on October 19.

Malone expressed his excitement for the tour, stating, “I love y’all so very much, and I’m so excited to get out and play new music for you.”

Post Malone debuted in 2011, but it wouldnt be until 2015 when he would achieved mainstream success. His track “White Iverson” reached number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100. The rapper is signed to Republic Records, under whose label he released his first album “Stoney” in 2016.

Stoney would go on to ascend to number four on the Billboard 200. The album fe4atured several chart-topping tracks including “Congratulations”.

With a successive albums that all debuted on top of the music charts, his 2023 album “Austin” showcased his versatility. The album included tracks “I Like You (A Happier Song)” and “Chemical.”

Recently, Malone topped the charts with “Fortnight” with Taylor Swift and “I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen.

The US rapper has sold over 80 million records and earned accolades such as ten Billboard Music Awards, three American Music Awards, and nine Grammy nominations. As of 2024, Malone holds the record for the most diamond-certified songs, with nine to his name.
