Prince William and Princess Kate’s wedding anniversary plans revealed

Wedding anniversary

Prince William and Princess Kate have revealed where they will spend their upcoming 14th anniversary of the day of their wedding at Westminster Abbey in 2011.

The Royal couple has announced that they will spend the day helping the community of the Mull Island in Scottish Highlands.

Mull was once ruled by the Lord of the Isles – one of Scottish titles – that Prince William inherited from his father when Charles became King.

The prince and princess will arrive in the Inner Hebrides on April 29 – the anniversary date!

Known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay when in Scotland, the couple will begin their visit in the town of Tobermory. Their Royal Foundation will announce a partnership to support and develop two community spaces on Mull during this visit.

During the trip to Mull, Kate and William will also visit a croft and restaurant on the west coast. Their itinerary also includes visiting the Hebridean sheep farmed on the 50-acre site, and selecting the garden produce for the menu.

On the final day of the trip, the Royal couple will meet countryside rangers from the Mull and Iona Ranger Service at the Ardura Community Forest. They will join a school group and participate in outdoor learning with Ardura Acorns – an early years outdoor learning play group. This learning experience will include nature trails, den-building and animal tracking.

The wedding anniversary plans come after Kate’s return to her Royal duties following treatment for cancer last September. Earlier she released a video saying she had finished chemotherapy and was “focused on staying cancer free”.
