Sajal-Wahaj starrer ‘The Pink Shirt’ to premiere at Sydney Film Festival

WEB DESK: In a strategic partnership between Applause Entertainment and Zee Zindagi, the latest project, The Pink Shirt featuring lead actors Sajal Aly and Wahaj Ali has been announced.

According to media reports, The Pink Shirt, an eight-episode series, is poised to make its world premiere at the South by Southwest Film Festival 2023 Sydney (SXSW) at the Palace Central Cinema on October 16. It is worth noting that this series stands as the only South Asian web series selected for this year’s Sydney festival.

The plot of The Pink Shirt revolves around the journeys of Sophia, portrayed by Sajal Aly, and Umer, played by Wahaj Ali, who find themselves ensnared in toxic relationships with their partners, Sameer and Sara. The series promises to take viewers on a transformative journey towards love, offering a poignant exploration of personal growth and healing.
