ISLAMABAD: TikToker Samiya Hijab, breaking her silence on the social media chatter, has admitted to having a ‘relationship’ with her alleged kidnapper Hassan Zahid.
Samiya, who recently filed a case against a young man Hassan Zahid for kidnapping and death threats, revealed that the man behind the threats and attempted abduction was none other than her former fiancé.
Her statement came after videos of her receiving gifts and meeting Hassan surfaced online, with users accusing her of seeking attention.
In a video statement on social media, Samiya admitted that the arrested man, Hassan Zahid, was her fiancé, but she ended the engagement after learning the truth about him.
She said she met Hassan six months ago at a friend’s birthday party. Afterward, Hassan sent her a proposal. “At first, I ignored it. But when he sent the proposal through his mother, I agreed to consider it,” she said. “However, I made it clear I would marry after four to five years.”
She added that for the past three months, Hassan had been pressuring her for marriage. “When I refused, he either hit me or abused me. Finally, I ended the engagement. I have blocked 28 of his numbers,” she revealed.
Bitter about the breakup Hassan threatened to kill me if I didn’t marry him, she revealed.

“He rang my doorbell, forced me to go with him, snatched my phone, and ran to his car. When I tried to get my phone back, he harassed me and tried to abduct me.”
According to Samiya, Hassan only dropped her home after his friend told him there were cameras everywhere and police had already called her phone. “Otherwise, he wouldn’t have let me go,”she said.
Samiya said, “If I had been killed like my friend Sana Yousaf, people would have sympathized. But since I’m alive, I’m being blamed instead.”
She added that even if a woman is married, no man has the right to use force, violence, or abduction against her. “My relationship with Hassan Zahid ended long ago,” she clarified.
“I am under severe mental stress,” she said, appealing to people not to judge without knowing the facts. She said she now hopes for justice.
