Sandal Khattak sent to Adiala jail on judicial remand

Islamabad: Police have transferred Tiktoker Sandal Khattak to Adiala jail on judicial remand following a Sessions Court order in the Hareem Shah videos case.

During the case heard by Judicial Magistrate Shabbir Bhatti, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officials requested a five-day physical remand for Khattak and also requested the court to allow them to investigate co-accused Ayesha Naz for additional details.

Khattak’s lawyer opposed the physical remand while arguing that her client’s mobile phone had already been confiscated.

The court rejected the plea for physical remand and ordered Khattak to be transferred to Adiala Jail on judicial remand.
