Shahrukh Khan injured during movie shooting in US

MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan suffered an injury during shooting for a movie in Los Angeles earlier this week.

According to the Indian media, the Pathaan actor injured his nose, which resulted in bleeding. He underwent a surgery before he flew back to India as the wound was not severe.

According to media reports, Khan is recuperating at home in India. The Main Hoon Na actor has not yet released any official statement in this regard.

Khan, who made a highly anticipated comeback this year with blockbuster action-thriller Pathaan, previously experienced injuries at multiple occasions during his illustrious 31-year Bollywood career. In 2013, he underwent eighth surgery after he suffered an knee injury during the shooting of Chennai Express. In 2017, he suffered knee injury during the shooting of film Raees.

The King-Khan will be hitting screens with much-awaited action thriller Jawaan on September 7. The movie, directed by Atlee, promises high-octane action and features Sanya Malhotra, Vijay Sethupati and Nayanthara in prominent characters.

The top actor is also lined up for Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki alongside Taapsee Pannu.
