Shahrukh Khan’s new song surpasses Jungkook’s Seven

MUMBAI: Shahurkh Khan’s latest song from the eagerly-anticipated action-thriller Jawaan has surpassed various international tracks.

According to the media reports, the makers unveiled the song Zinda Banda on Monday which became a massive hit instantly.

Sung and composed by Anirudh Ravichander, the highly-anticipated song featured Khan’s signature dancing style, captivatingly synchronised with 1000 female performers. The music video garnered a staggering 32 million views on YouTube in just one day.

The media reports said that the song was released in three-language versions including Zinda Banda in Hindi, Vandha Edam in Tamil, and Dhumme Dhulipelaa in Telugu. All of the versions have secured the top three positions on YouTube’s global charts in the 24-hour timeframe.

As per the international media, the song outshined tracks such as ITZY’s Cake, Guru Randhawa’s You Talking To Me?, BTS’ Jungkook’s latest single Seven, Myke Towers’ Lala, Shakira’s and Karol G’s songs, among others.

The news of the song’s success has gone viral on Reddit, with many netizens expressing surprise and admiration for the three versions of Zinda Banda making it to the top three.

One user praised the refreshing nature of the song, expressing fatigue with repetitive Bollywood tracks, while another speculated that it could be the most viewed Bollywood movie song on YouTube within 24 hours, without any advertisements.

A third user expressed satisfaction after seeing the song’s triumph, particularly in response to negative remarks by music critics and haters. They asserted that people’s love for Khan trumps the venom and hatred spewed by the naysayers.

The action-thriller movie boasts a star-studded ensemble, with Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, and others joining Khan in prominent roles. The superstar Deepika Padukone will be making a special appearance.

Directed by Atlee, the multilingual movie is set to grace the screens on September 7.
