Shakira reschedules ‘Las Mujeres No Ya Lloran’ tour due to high demand

WEB DESK: World famous Colombian singer Shakira officially postponed the North American leg of her ‘Las Mujeres No Ya Lloran World Tour’ on Friday.
The ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ singer moved the start date of her world tour from November 2024 to May 2025 in response to a high ticket demand.

In a message posted on image-sharing social media platform Instagram, Shakira thanked her fans for the overwhelming support she had received. “Your remarkable backing has been truly exceptional, making this the largest tour of my career”.
The “Whenever, Wherever” songstress stated that the huge increase n ticket reuqests and the need for additional performances forced her to change from smaller arenas to much larger stadiums to hold her concerts.
“Consequently, we are upgrading my North American tour from arenas to stadiums, and the dates will now shift to May 2025, immediately following my Latin American tour”, the post stated.
Shakira also mentioned that the scale of her production has grown considerably, making it a unique experience compared to her pervious performances.
“I deeply appreciate your support during this time. Your patience and affection are invaluable to me and inspire me to keep pushing boundaries”.
The revised schedule and specific locations for the North American concerts will be revealed on October 21.
The Colombian singer’s Las Mujeres No Ya Lloran World Tour’ is promoting her latest album, which shares the same title. It was released in March.

The album peaked at number 1 on the Billboard’s “Top Latin Album” and “Latin Pop Albums” charts, making her the first female artist to secure number 1 albums across four decades.
Her Las Mujeres No Ya Lloran album also garnered a Latin Grammy nomination in the “Album of the Year” category.
