LAHORE: Pakistani filmmaker and actor Shamoon Abbasi has stirred curiosity among fans through a recent cryptic post on social media, hinting at his intention to distance himself from “immodest” individuals.
According to the Express Tribune, in what seemed to be a now-removed Facebook post, Abbasi conveyed a message stressing his decision to cut ties with specific individuals. He said: “A brief reminder of my choices to disengage from individuals devoid of shame,”.

Furthermore, the Durj actor stated, “I never wanted to be attached or known to have anything with impudent and immodest, shameless people in my life and never I will. No matter what my relationship is with them, I prefer to stay away from them no matter what!”
The veiled reference to particular individuals in his life, coupled with his pointed diction, has prompted speculation within the entertainment domain, inciting conversations about the individuals and circumstances to which Abbasi remarks might pertain.
Shamoon Abbasi has always been very vocal about the issues he faces in the entertainment industry. The 50-year-old actor was lately seen in Kamran Shahid’s historical romance Huey Tum Ajnabi and Mohib Mirza’s romantic action-comedy movie Ishrat Made in China.
The Waar actor has various projects in the pipeline including Nadeem Cheema’s rom-com Delhi Gate and Kamran Shahid’s The Trial.
