Shoaib Malik trolled on social media after son’s birthday celebration

DUBAI: Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik is under fire on social media following his son Izhaan’s sixth birthday celebration.

Earlier Malik’s ex-wife Indian tennis star Sania Mirza shared photos of Izhaan’s birthday celebration on social media.

Malik arrived in Dubai and posted his own photos with Izhaan, cutting the birthday cake. However, social media users noticed that Izhaan seemed uncomfortable with his father in these images, leading to criticism against Malik.

Many online comments favored Sania and expressed anger towards Malik, accusing him of ruining his marriage by allegedly having an affair with actress Sana Javed, with whom he reportedly tied the knot earlier this year.

Shoaib and Sania, who married in 2010, welcomed their son Izhaan in 2018. However, the couple parted ways in 2023, after which Sania moved to Dubai, where she currently resides with Izhaan.
