SRK’s “Jawan” teaser breaks Internet with action and thrill

MUMBAI: Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan has released the action-packed teaser of highly-anticipated movie Jawan on Monday.

Directed by Atlee, known for his blockbuster Tamil films like Theri, Mersal and Bigil, the movie features Khan in never-seen-before avatar performing high-octane action sequences.

The movie centres around Khan, a patriotic army officer who is betrayed by his own countrymen and becomes a vigilante with a band of girls to fight against corruption and injustice. His different looks in the teaser have created a lot of buzz among his fans.

The film features an ensemble cast of stars from different film industries, such as, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Allu Arjun, Sanya Malhotra. The prevue has also teased the fans with the Deepika Padukone’s cameo appearance.

Produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment, Jawan is slated to release on September 7, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. According to the box-office experts, the film is expected to break all the records and cement Khan’s position as the global superstar of Indian cinema.
