“I want to thank CBS for giving us the privilege of being part of the late-night tradition,” Colbert said, while joking earlier on stage: “While I have your attention, is anyone hiring?”

“It is my obligation as a Jewish person to distinguish Jews from the state of Israel. Our religion and our culture is such an important and long-standing institution that is really separate to this sort of ethnonationalist state,” she told later.
The winners were selected by the Television Academy’s 26,000 members, including performers, directors, and producers.
